Candidate Information Sessions

Two Candidate Information Sessions are scheduled to provide information about the 2026 Municipal and School Board elections. The sessions will be led by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. The sessions include an overview of the responsibilities set out in the legislation for both candidates and third-party advertisers, as well as a general overview of the roles and responsibilities of members of council for those individuals considering running for a council seat.

The two sessions will be streamed live on the Town's Youtube Channel, as well as in-person in Council Chambers at the Civic Centre, 19000 Leslie Street, Sharon.
